August is the guide to everyone and the pillar that stabilizes the home. He makes sure everyone succeeds to have a peaceful and successful life, even considering his young age. He wishes to create a safe place under his control so nothing bad happens, he is very blinded by that mindset though. His troubled past made him extremely anxious when he isn't the one controlling everything and making it go smoothly.
Even with his flaws, he's a very understanding and collected individual. He may be anxious at times but he's very good at composing himself to not worry anyone else, since everyone else is his main priority.
